Portuguese medical group IGHS announced the opening of a new local medical centre in the Macau Peninsula.
Portuguese medical group IGHS – Global Healthcare Services will open another medical centre in the Macau Peninsula in the first half of 2021 in a joint venture with local real estate group Trust Construction.
“Trust was planning to establish a partnership to launch a medical centre with a partner that it could trust. Since it knew our track record of service in the city a joint venture was created, Global Trust […] We plan to submit all required documents to authorities in November and December so that the clinic can then open in the first six months of 2021,” Globallmed Medical Centre Director, Jose Quinteiro, told Macau News Agency.
The new medical centre will be located at Trust Construction’s new real estate project in Avenida Coronel Mesquita, and will have roughly the same size of the group’s current Globallmed Medical Centre in Taipa while providing similar services but with a special arrangement for residents in the property.

Innov.Cell, a subsidiary of IGHS, ended its successful participation in CPHI 2024, which took place in Milan, with a positive outcome. This year, CPHI was attended by more than 62,000 people and around 2,400 exhibitors from 166 countries. Throughout the event, Innov.Cell met with several potential partners, from R&D, investors, and distributors covering more than 50 countries.
