GLOBALLMED Medical Centre: an example of Portuguese success in Asia
The Globallmed Medical Centre welcomed today the Secretary of State for the Economy of the Portuguese Government, Mr. Pedro Cilínio, as part of an initiative of the Portuguese General Consulate in Macau and Hong Kong.
The Portuguese Consul, Mr. Alexandre Leitão and Mr. Bernardo Pinho, Director of AICEP in Macau and Vice-Consul of Portugal in Macau have also joined this visit, as well as other members of the Portuguese delegation.
This visit is part of several initiatives conducted by the Portuguese Government aimed to promote the best of what is being done in Macau, by the Portuguese companies and Globallmed was selected and identified as an example of quality across borders, being highlighted as an inspiration and motivation for other companies that are looking to embrace Asia as a geography for the expansion of the Portuguese economy.
During the visit, the Director of Globallmed, Mr. José Quinteiro, had the opportunity to highlight the challenges that the region is facing, which have been intensified by the pandemic period, having emphasized different ways of overcoming them, with a view of the economy recovery. The other important aspect highlighted was the excellence of the human and technical resources quality, as well as the cutting-edge services provided to the population.
It's important to mention that the Globallmed Medical Centre has been operating since 2018 and is the only health unit in the region, certified by EFQM with the Committed to Excellence quality seal.

Innov.Cell ended its successful participation in CPHI 2024
Innov.Cell, a subsidiary of IGHS, ended its successful participation in CPHI 2024, which took place in Milan, with a positive outcome. This year, CPHI was attended by more than 62,000 people and around 2,400 exhibitors from 166 countries. Throughout the event, Innov.Cell met with several potential partners, from R&D, investors, and distributors covering more than 50 countries.
