IGHS & KELOCELL at the world's largest medical trade fair MEDICA 2023
As the world's largest medical trade fair, MEDICA brings together thousands of companies and tens of thousands of visitors each year in Düsseldorf, Germany to showcase the latest innovations in medical technology. This year's event took place between November 13th and 16th and represented a great opportunity to present the latest innovation in healthcare technology and pharmaceutical industry, as well as allowed us to explore different markets and potential business opportunities.
The IGHS Group had the pleasure of attending this year’s edition, not only in the hospital sector, but also in the pharmaceutical area, with the presentation of the new KELOCELL Product Line that will be released to the market this month, specially developed for scar care and treatment of different skin conditions, such as psoriasis and atopic dermatitis.
KELO.CELL Protect SPF30, as the original, is based on a unique and highly effective formulation but with sun protection, specially developed to enhance skin regeneration and improve the appearance of atrophic, hypertrophic and keloid scars, while protecting them from the sun damage. KELO.CELL Concealer ensures instant coverage of scars and thanks to its special polymer is able to adapt to any skin tone.
Another innovation this year belongs to our PSORIS line, specially developed for psoriasis prone skin. KELO.CELL PSORIS SOS ACUTE BALM and KELO.CELL PSORIS BODY LOTION are designed to work together. These two products are essential allies to deal with skin conditions such as psoriasis or atopic dermatitis.
These were intensive four days of work, presenting the quality and innovation of KELO.CELL brand, making many new connections and having interesting discussions.
Another highlight of our presence is related to our consulting services in the healthcare field. After all, IGHS is internationally recognized for its role in the conception, planning, and management of hospital units, with a distinctive approach due to its know-how and adaptation capability to the geographical and social reality of each project.
This year's fair was attended by more than 5,700 exhibitors from 60 countries, along with 79,000 visitors from 173 countries. With more than 75% of attendees coming from abroad, the international presence was particularly strong, with professionals coming from South Korea and the US, as well as visiting groups from India and North Africa, being among the most represented countries, just behind the European countries.
