For the IGHS Group, training and practice are fundamental to guarantee the continuity of excellence in the execution of all the tasks that its health professionals carry out throughout its chain of value, from management to clinical practice.

The Oman International Hospital (OIH) started this February 1, the MED ACADEMY, a 10-years project powered by Siemens Healthineers.
The overall goal of Med Academy is promoting technical and clinical know-how of OIH employees aiming to increase skills leading to the provision of the best health care, in line with the highest quality standards worldwide.
The project includes onsite and online training sessions, e-education platforms, preceptorships, and symposiums. And it will be used as the foundation for the process of Accreditation of the hospital.

This includes, in the next decade, a partnership between the IGHS Group and Siemens Healthineers, which provides the first private hospital in Oman with leading-edge equipment and modern facilities. A guaranteed showcase of the high quality of the services provided, certified by EFQM. In fact, the involvement with various entities, both the local Ministry of Health, world-class educational institutions and the partnership with the German multinational Siemens Healthineers, will allow, in the medium term, live surgeries to the four corners of the globe.
